Register for Training


Cost of First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training™ is $250 per person.

Payment for the course can be made by either PayPal or Cheque. Following completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email within 1-2 business days, which will include instructions on how to send a cheque. The First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training often incurs a wait list for each training. If AASAS does not receive your check at least two weeks before the course start date, your registration will be cancelled, and your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.

Category A Credits for Social Workers

Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services #1645 is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 11/29/2018-11/29/2021. Social workers completing this course receive 13 Category A continuing education credits.

Please be advised: At this time, Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services is not able to offer Social Worker Category A continuing education credits for the online version of this training.  We are currently in the process of applying for online accreditation.
