Payment for the course:

Payment for the course can be made by either PayPal or Cheque. Following completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email within 1-2 business days, which will include instructions of how to send a cheque. The First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training often incurs a wait list for each training. If AASAS does not receive your check at least two weeks before the course start date, your registration will be cancelled, and your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.

If paying through PayPal, please click on ‘add special instructions to the seller’ and type in First Responder Training, training date and location, and name(s) of participant(s) when you submit your payment.

Cost of First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training™ is $250.00 per person.

Category A Credits for Social Workers:

Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services #1645 is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 11/29/2018-11/29/2021. Social workers completing this course receive 13 Category A continuing education credits.
