Resources for youth

What It Is.   Designed by youths for youths, this online digital game challenges the myths surrounding sexual abuse and sexual violence. What It Is can also be played over a Java-enabled cellphone as a mobile video game.

Launched in November 2010, the innovative What It Is project was developed by the Toronto-based Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children (METRAC). Through the game, METRAC hopes to raise knowledge and awareness about the nature and impact of sexual assault and the needs of young survivors. TELUS is a key project funding partner.
